Laiba started her miniature journey at the age of 7. She made her very first miniature with simple play dough and a toothpick. She recalls that her very first miniature was a Kadai Paneer which is a cottage cheese curry in a type of skillet.
In no time, one thing led to the other and Laiba made more than 100 miniatures (mostly food miniatures) during the Covid Lockdown in India.
Laiba is a self-taught, budding miniaturist; she learns through observation mainly and has experimented with many textures and types of clay. Today, she specializes in modeling clay (mainly Polymer Clay) which gets baked into magical ceramic-like pieces.
Her passion to make these mini's stems from her love for textures, art, eye for detail and wholeheartedness.
In this entrepreneurial effort called "Tiny Trinkets" Laiba is committed to make customized trinket boxes with miniatures that people love to hold close to their heart. A part of all that she earns from any of her collections is always assigned to a verified social cause. Be assured, with every purchase, you are taking home a miniature that is dear to you or your loved one AND you are part of an act of kindness. Laiba keeps all her customers posted about what they are contributing towards with every purchase.

Laiba loves to try new things; she never fears pushing herself beyond her comfort zone when it comes to miniatures. Her very first collection that went LIVE was done in honor of her brother who is in the autism spectrum.
She launched an autism acceptance collection which was very well-received. Very soon, her customers took her in varied routes, she has done Safety Collections, Festival Collections, Grandparent / Grandchild Collections, Birthday Gifts, Baking Collections and much more.

Laiba's Tiny Trinkets:: An amazing girl with a golden heart. So much passion and determination.
She's perfectly defined what her Brother Hasan means to her.
The Tiny Trinkets have touched our hearts in so many different ways, it was such a beautiful Trinkets we have received for our son Yuvan on his birthday which made a very special and memorable one.
Her work for the neurodiverse abilities is a work of art, the creation of each piece is very detailed and with great passion.
Laiba we love you for what you do. May you be blessed with best of everything ❤️
Love,
Rajini & Karthik
I am so excited to have received these lovely miniatures from Laiba's Tiny Trinkets! They were created by Laiba, a young artist who handcrafted them in honor of her younger brother Hasan, who is on the autism spectrum.
The three miniatures in this set relate to her brother's experience of autism: a brain (intellect), a keyboard (communication) and a pair of headphones/ear defenders (listening & sensory regulation). The levels of detail and crafting of these miniatures are really amazing, and they came packaged in a lovely mesh drawstring bag and tin case!
Congrats Laiba on your gorgeous trinkets and thank you for sharing your talents with the world!

Hello Laiba, thank you for your note.
Your treasures will make so many people smile! Miniatures have a magical quality about them and you do such a beautiful job carrying out your unique ideas.
On top of all that, your generosity of spirit is 'through the roof' donating to Kind Theory. I am so glad to know you! Wendy 💕

I believed there was no love more real than that of a puppy... until this 12-year-old came along and did this.
She handcrafted miniatures that capture my dreams and wrapped them in a mini trinket box.
What a lovely reminder of big love in tiny ways.

This is the most artfully made gift I have ever received. The detail in the texture of the pan and the appam was as good as real. I felt very loved that Laiba paid so much attention to know me and my favorite things.
